The files also contains letters, faxes and papers to Thomas Gold from various individuals and organisations, Aug 1948, Dec 1948, Feb 1993, Feb-Jun 1994, Aug-Sep 1994. One of the files (2 of 2) includes faxes between Thomas Gold and Sir Hermann Bondi about the origin of the steady state theory (171). The letters and faxes have been numbered by Gold or a secretary from 151 to 180. They are not indexed and were originally stored in a hanging file.
