TitlePapers about life on other planets by Thomas Gold
DateMay-Aug 1997
DescriptionContains two different papers with the same title, 'Life on other planets', dated 22 May 1997 and 15 June 1997. Also contains correspondence between Thomas Gold and Josephn A Burns, Editor of 'Icarus' about publishing a paper entitled, 'Life on other planets' in 'Icarus', 7 May 1997, 30 April 1997, 11 August 1997. It seems that Gold decided not to submit the paper to 'Icarus' 'because the 'American Scientist' was very keen to have it'. According to Gold, it was to appear in the next issue. A paper by Gold entitled, 'An Unexplored Habitat for Life in the Universe?' was published in the September-October 1997 edition of 'American Scientist', pp408-411.
