OtherInfo | While not much is known about Packer in a personal or professional capacity, his contributions within the Society were primarily focused on horticulture and dendrology. Additionally, it is known that he moved within the circles of Samuel Pepys (FRS 1665) as well as Christopher Wren (FRS 1660), with whose help he rebuilt Groombridge Place, which still stands today. |
