OtherInfo | Unfortunately, very little information is known about Clark's early life and education. He published numerous articles in medical and scientific journals, including 'Medical Commentaries' and 'Medical Facts', and his most well-known work was on yellow fever. He held a half-share, with James Laing, in the sugar and coffee plantation Clark Hall, which he left in his will, along with the enslaved people kept there for labour, to his brother George Clark or to his brother's children. |
