OtherInfoNot much is known about Lionne's life, career, and involvement with the Royal Society. His father was a well-respected statesman, whose skill was recognised by Cardinal Mazarin and later other members of German nobility. Lionne seems to have had a brother who was active in the Paris Foreign Missions Society.
