OtherInfoAfter the Restoration, Oudart sought compensation and rewards for his loyalty. He no longer held his position with William of Orange after his imprisonment in Holland, which had been intended for a ransom exchange reportedly. Although barely active in the Royal Society's activities, Oudart was acquaintances with Samuel Pepys (FRS 1665) and John Evelyn (FRS 1663).
