OtherInfoCastle was involved with a pre-cursor to the Royal Society, the Oxford Experimental Philosophy Club, which included members such as George Ent (FRS 1663), Francis Glisson (FRS 1664), Robert Boyle (FRS 1663), and John Locke (FRS 1665). He published 'The Chymical Galenist' (1667), heavily criticising those contemporaries who disregarded classical medicine as a whole.
