OtherInfoAs a royalist, Nott played a role in the royalist uprising in Glamorgan in 1647 and was able to escape as his forces dispersed at the approach of Parliamentary general Rowland Laugharne's troops. He was ordered to disarm after a royalist demonstration at Twickenham in 1649.
